History has become a challenging and demanding space for contemporary artists from the former peripheries of the global art world interested in the documentary, (re)constructive and also fictional dimensions of the archive – in both its physical and metaphorical dimension.

Craft39
Craft 39 is a pop-up gallery based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This gallery aims to make art affordable for everyone. At Craft39, we believe art is essential to the human spirit. Through our online sales platform, we aim to make it accessible to as many people as possible. In doing so, we help bring collectors together. We have formed an Advisory Committee of artists already represented by Craft 39 to help us select new artists. Artwork on Craft39 is original, signed, delivered directly from the artist's studio, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Talks
Talks is dedicated to sharing insights about art history on film from leading artists, curators and academics. This growing catalogue of short films aims to open art up to the wider public, and create a platform through which everyone can learn about art history, and can discuss, comment, enjoy and engage with it.
Community builder
We feel the need to create more meaningful connections, find and offer support to other artists with whom we can build relationships and systems of exchange. We are constantly working to identify opportunities and create unique, valuable connections between groups of people.
Editions
Editions works with artists, to produce high quality, limited edition artworks. We work with a range of mediums, including sealed or Diasec-mounted Giclée prints, metallic and non-metallic chromogenic prints.. Editions are available through Craft39 and also select institutions, including the Artland.com
Publishing
The publishing house specializes in beautifully produced art publications. Made in collaboration with an artist or author, our custom titles range from major commercial publications to catalogs, artist books, and limited editions. We also work closely with a wide range of museums and art fairs to record locations and bring stories to their collections.
Craft39’s Grants Program
Craft39’s Grants Program is designed to give artists a platform to experiment, develop new audiences, and create and share work outside the confines of larger institutional systems. Artist Support Grants are unrestricted $5,000 awards, granted by an external selection panel of community leaders and culture workers, designed to support practitioners interested in expanding the boundaries of their practice at any stage in their career.
